I want to keep you, because it's been such hard work building you.Guardarte querría porque con esfuerzo te han hecho... (1292-2003)
Mas d'en Bosch is located in the basin of river Rialb. As a masia it belongs to the type and structure commonly known as "Classical" Catalonian, and is perfectly adapted to local environmental conditions.
The first thing we see when we get there is the old straw loft, currently restored as a carport. We can leave the cars there and go straight to the house, where an inviting flight of elegant stone stairs leads the way into the house.
The house can lodge as many as 16-20 visitors. It is three floors high: access to the first floor is from either the south-facing or the sun-facing side. The latter opens into a large entrance hall that connects with both a living room and a double room with a bathroom fitted out for disabled people, and another door connects with the southern entrance hall.
But back to the main entrance. Halfway up another set of stairs we pass by the laundry and storage room on our way to the second floor. Once landed, the chimney-equipped kitchen lies on one side and the dining hall on the other. Across this hall is a double room with a bathroom and a short passageway that leads to two double rooms and a separate bathroom.
There is also a second dining room connected with the first; from here, a passageway gives access to two double rooms and a separate bathroom, another kitchen with chimney, a room for children (optional), and a stairway to the third floor, where we find two double rooms, one of which overlooks the swimming-pool and has a bathroom.
The view from the house is breathtaking, as it stands at the confluence of the rivers Segre and Rialb. From up the hill the swamp seems to spread out at our feet and the landscape stretches to the horizon.
